Kanye West broke down crying during a revealing interview with Zane Lowe for BBC Radio 1 on Thursday.

Kanye was discussing his career and attempts to break into the fashion industry with presenter Zane Lowe, and began by talking about the barriers he’s faced, about being dismissed by companies for his “celebrity”.

“I’m trying to express that I can create outside this music box… and I’m giving examples of work that I did that are completely successful but I’m just getting shot down,” he began.

After the pair talked for some time the conversation moved on to fashion professor Louise Wilson, who was the director of the MA fashion degree at Central Saint Martins and trained Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane and died last year.
